Byte
Website Terms
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These terms apply to usebyte.io, including founding access applications, the waitlist, the Byte newsletter and contact forms. The site is operated by Byte Global Inc. It describes a product in development and does not itself provide the Byte product.
Using the site
You may browse and use the site for lawful personal or institutional evaluation. Do not interfere with its security or availability, submit malicious or automated traffic, impersonate someone, scrape it at scale, or use its content or branding in a misleading way.
If you submit information on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you are under 13, do not submit a form.
Applications, waitlists and newsletters
A founding access application is an expression of interest, not an offer, contract, account, membership or guarantee of access. Byte may accept, decline, pause or close applications at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
Joining a waitlist or newsletter means we may send the communications described beside that form. You can unsubscribe at any time. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing unless you separately choose it.
Intro bookings
Intro appointments are arranged through Microsoft Bookings. A booking does not create a commercial commitment by either side. Microsoft’s terms and privacy information also apply to its hosted booking page.
Our content
Unless credited otherwise, Byte owns or licenses the site’s text, design, software, images, marks and other content. You may share links and quote short passages with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial parts, remove notices, or use Byte’s name or marks as if they were yours without written permission.
Information and availability
The site and any descriptions of future functionality are provided for general information. Plans, features, availability and timing can change. We aim to keep the site accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing here is legal, financial, academic or professional advice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Byte is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this free informational site.
Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Links and third parties
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. Byte does not control their content, security or availability. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use them.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use information submitted through the site. Our Cookie Policy explains browser storage and analytics choices.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms as the site develops. The new version applies from the date shown above. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing protections you have under mandatory local law. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear a dispute.
